I got the Palladio velvet matte lip cream in the shade Angora online from Xpress Nepal when I was home last year. Angora is a beautiful lipstick shade. It is a bright red shade with a presence of an orange undertone.
The texture is smooth and creamy. It doesn’t set into matte completely , but leaves a velvety touch. If you like Mac’s Lady Danger or any red lipstick shades that has a hint of orange, then this shade is definitely for you. I am not sure if you can get this here in India, but you can try looking for it online.
- It is herbal
- Highly pigmented
- Gives smooth application
- Decent packaging
- No scent
- Fine staying power
- Very moisturizing
- It Transfers
- Doe-foot applicator is fine, but the handle is bit short , I feel had it been a little longer it could have given more precise application.
- Doesn’t set into complete matte , has a velvety finish ( that’s what the product claims any way.)
- It stains
Price in Nepal
My Final take:
I am highly impressed with the rich pigmentation of the lip cream. I love how it keeps my lips moisturize throughout the day unlike other matte lip creams. It feels extremely smooth on lips and doesn’t have a scent , which is again a plus point . Yes , it transfer quite easily , but depends on you how you handle the product once it’s on your lips. If you going out for long meals then I suggest you make sure you blot your lips before digging into the dishes 🙂
Would I love to purchase Palladio velvet matte lip cream again?
Considering the price and the staying power, I might go for other options such as Maybelline matte lip creams or Miss Claire for more pocket friendly choices.
