Apple Cider Vinegar facial toner : DIY

Do you have Oily and acne prone skin wit large facial pores? Why not try Apple Cider Vinegar facial toner at home?

Facial toner helps in removing oil and traces of dirt and grime from the skin. It also helps in shrinking large facial pores to a large extend. However, you are not sure or sceptical about market brands that sells toner, then you can try making natural facial toner at home!

Oily skin and acne are inseparably best friends, they don’t leave each other, until you take some time out to deal with them and make them understand that their company is completely ruining your face!

I have an oily skin and I completely know the pain of waking up in the morning with a new pimple every now and then. I am not much of a commercial acne ointment person, so I usually try some natural home remedies to control breakouts. I wouldn’t hide but would tell you all every possible home remedies  had tried earlier. From rubbing a garlic clove to applying tomatoes and even toothpaste! Girls, I have done it all 😀

After a long research on internet I finally thought of trying Apple Cider Vinegar. It is effective in controlling oil on our skin, fighting acne, pimples and blemishes.

Benefits of apple cider vinegar for skin & Hair

  • Prevents Acne and Pimples
  • Adds shine to hair
  • Helps in getting rid of dandruff
  • Soothes sun burn
  • Has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal agent

Use organic apple cider vinegar instead of white:

Go for organic , unfiltered apple cider vinegar. It will appear a little cloudy with a slight apple flavor. It is mild and safe to use on skin, hair and even adding on salads. White vinegar on the other hand  is sour, harsh and appears like clear water. Mostly used in kitchen and cleaning purposes. If you want to check out some Apple cider vinegar online  Buy Here

I used it as a regular facial toner for a week and I could see positive result. My pimples sort of settled down and skin looked brighter. Apple Cider Vinegar facial toner works amazing on acne prone skin. If you want to make this effective homemade facial toner then follow the steps below.

Here is how I make my own Homemade Face toner.

What you’ll need :
Organic apple cider vinegar
Distilled water
Empty container to store the toner.

Follow the steps:
1. Pour a small amount of the Apple Cider Vinegar into a measurement cup and pour it into the empty container. I am using two cap full right now, however I had began with 1 spoonful earlier. Take the desired amount you wish to but I recommend starting with about a tablespoon.
2. Next, dilute the apple cider vinegar with filtered or distilled water. And give it a shake.

Note: If you have a sensitive skin use a little more water. Observe which ratio works for your skin type the most.

How to use your apple cider vinegar facial toner?

Pour a little onto a cotton pad and apply it to your skin after cleansing. Let the toner dry and then carry on with your regular face creams. You can do this twice a day or any time you wash your face.
